CARE Network Members

CARE Network - SAFVE Program

LCHC is the lead agency of the CARE Network, an MDPH funded network of Lowell community-based organizations working with Cambodian women and families experiencing domestic or family violence. The primary focus of the CARE Network, and LCHC’s role, are to increase the awareness and understanding of domestic violence in the Cambodian community. In addition to work with the CARE Network, LCHC provides advocacy for DV and SA individuals through the SAFVE Program, currently funded under the MDPH RISE Program. SAFVE assists individuals in ensuring their safety, provides facilitated referrals to shelters and legal services, and provides counseling and concrete social services.
