CARIÑO HIV Services offers comprehensive care for people living with HIV and AIDS. We also offer counseling, rapid testing, and educational workshops for people who want to know their status or receive more information on HIV/AIDS. Case management, primary care, infectious disease consultation, and medication
adherence programs are available for patients living with HIV. CARIÑO also coordinates monthly support groups for people living with or affected by HIV.
Appointments are not necessary, but are available. Walk-in's can be accommodated during business hours. Case Managers for established patients will work with a patient to determine long-term goals and needs. Case Managers will advocate on behalf of patients needing assistance from social agencies, housing agencies or other institutions. The Medication Adherence Program can assist patients with the often complicated process of creating schedules for taking HIV medications, understanding and managing side effects, and staff offer moral support.
