Private insurance, MassHealth and Medicare cover most services at LCHC. However, if you do not qualify for insurance, LCHC offers a sliding fee scale, or even free care, based on each patients household size and income. Of course, no patient will be denied care because of inability to pay.
Health Benefits Coordinators are available to assist new and existing patients with determining eligibility for insurance plans and programs.
At Lowell Community Health Center you may choose from a staff of qualified Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, Obstetricians and Behavioral Health Specialists to be your health care provider. Additionally, you will be assisted by a large staff of caring and competent Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants when you come in for your doctor's visit.
Many of our medical team are fluent in several languages. If you wish you, may choose a primary care provider who speaks your language. If we do not have a provider who speaks your language, we can provide you with interpreter services at no additional cost. You may also choose a primary
care physician by specialty. LCHC has providers with special interests in diabetes, HIV, mental health, asthma, and women's health to name a few. Whatever your preference for a medical provider may be, you have a large range of skilled professionals to choose from at LCHC.
