Employee Benefits*

Health Insurance Coverage - LCHC offers Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, a comprehensive medical plan. Employees are eligible to select from the following coverage levels: employee only, employee plus one, or family. To be eligible employees must work a minimum of 24 hours.

Dental Insurance Coverage - For dental insurance LCHC offers Metlife Dental, a premium dental plan. Employees are eligible to select the following coverage levels: employee only or employee plus one. To be eligible employees must work a minimum of 24 hours.

Tuition Reimbursement - Contingent upon hours worked, length of employment, and budget employees may be eligible for up to 75% of costs up to $750 annually in tuition assistance.

National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program - Primary care clinicians are eligible for loan repayment assistance in exchange for working in underserved urban communities throughout the United States known as Health Professional Shortage Areas.

Life Insurance - Available to all eligible employees free of cost through Lincoln Financial. To be eligible employees must work a minimum of 24 hours.

Short Term Disability/Long Term Disability - To be eligible employees must work a minimum of 24 hours. Lincoln Financial provides short-term and long-term disability benefits for employees. LCHC pays for long-term disability for employees.

Retirement Funds - Employees may opt to enroll in a retirement fund, 403(b) plan, through The Hartford Group.

Vacation - All full-time and regular part time employees scheduled to work at least 20 hours/week accrue vacation time after the first 3 months of employment. Non-exempt employees may accrue up to two weeks of vacation time until their third year of employment, upon which they are entitled to accrue three weeks. Exempt employees accrue three weeks of vacation time until their third year of employment, upon which they are entitled to accrue four weeks.

Sick Time/Personal Days - 10 sick days per calendar year. In addition, employees receive 2 personal days per year. Accrued sick time may not be used until employed at least 3 months. Personal days do not have a waiting period.

Holidays - 10 paid holidays are recognized at the Health Center.

Credit Union Membership - Employees may join in the Metropolitan Credit Union through LCHC.

Direct Deposit - Direct deposit of weekly pay checks is available for employees.
