Helpdesk Support Specialist - Full time will provide remote phone support to end users who call the IT Help Desk. This individual is responsible for the coverage of the help desk phones in the IT Department. This position will constantly be dealing with multiple tasks, some of which will include but are not limited to: remote Windows user support, creation of network profiles, troubleshooting desktop and laptop systems remotely, troubleshooting printers remotely, and running the help desk software.Employee must have or be working towards a Bachelors degree in a related field. Employee must have a working knowledge of PC desktop software and applications including but not limited to: Windows XP and 7 Professional, Office 2003 and 2007. In addition the employee must have good working knowledge of networking fundamentals and must be familiar with the OSI model. A minimum of one year general PC help desk experience in a networked environment is desired.
