Spanish, Portuguese and Khmer are spoken by many Health Center staff throughout our different locations. LCHC staff are fluent in more than 25 languages. In addition, interpreter services can be arranged for the languages our doctors and medical translators do not speak.

Adult Medicine - Choose from a selection of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners to be your primary care provider. Services provided include complete physical exams, regular physician visits, routine lab work, blood pressure detection, treatment and management, asthma management, cholesterol screening and management, diabetes screening and management, cancer prevention and detection, nutrition and weight reduction services, preventive health education and behavioral health services.

Pediatric Medicine - Choose one of several Pediatricians or Nurse Practitioners to be your child's primary medical provider. Services include complete physical exams with vision and hearing assessments, school physicals, lead screenings, asthma management, immunizations, nutrition services, routine lab work, and health education.

Family Practice - Family Medicine Physicians specialize in caring for the needs of your entire family throughout all stages of life. Family Practice physicians are trained in all major medical areas and diagnose and treat a full range of medical concerns. Primary medical services offered at Adult and Pediatric Medicine are also available at Family Practice. Family Practice differs from Adult and Pediatric Medicine because your entire family can consult Family Practice physicians.

Metta Health Center - One of the nation's first fully integrated East Meets West Health care facilities, Metta Health Center focuses on the city's Southeast Asian population. "Metta" means love and kindness in the Pali Buddhist language. Services include primary medical care for all ages, chronic disease management, nutrition counseling, mental health services, traditional healing advice, acupuncture, massage therapy, social services, meditation, health education, and referrals. Services are provided by extremely experienced bilingual, bicultural staff members with a history of community work and by culturally sensitive Western providers.
