DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate more than two decades of “Loving Kindness” here in Lowell. Be part of this very special celebration of our Metta Health Center for immigrant and refugee health. Enjoy food and entertainment inspired by our global community and special tribute to Metta’s founders\, including former Director\, Sonith Peou. \nHOW TO CELEBRATE WITH US\n\nJoin us for an in-person celebration! Purchase a ticket and join us in our 6th Floor Community Health Education Center (CHEC). Masks will required (when not eating or drinking) for the health and comfort of our community. There will be ample space for social distancing. Enjoy a sampling of global treats at the event or at home with one of our “to-go” boxes.\nCan’t attend in-person or feel more comfortable staying home? You can still show your support for Metta by purchasing a “virtual” ticket. You will receive a link to a video capturing key program highlights after the event.\n\nSPECIAL VIRTUAL FILM SCREENING — All Ticket Holders!\nWhether attending “virtually” or in-person\, all those who purchase a ticket will receive a link to view A Place to Breathe\, an award-winning feature length documentary that features our Metta Health Center (link will be active for 2 weeks). This inspiring and thought-provoking film is being aired on public television across the country\, but hasn’t made its way to New England yet. Don’t miss your chance to see this early screening from the comfort of home. \nPURCHASE TICKETS ON OUR DONATE PAGE\nCommunity tickets are $50 each. Tickets for Lowell CHC staff members and patients are $10 each (suggested donation).
