Teen Clinic Reopening

Teen clinic (for teens and young adults, ages 13-24) will re-open on May 3, 2022, and will be taking place every Tuesday from 3-5pm. Services include: Information/education about sexual and reproductive health, birth control counseling and prescriptions, STI testing and treatment, pregnancy tests, emergency contraception, and condoms. All services are confidential and do NOT require parent consent. You do NOT have to be a Lowell CHC registered patient.

Lowell Community Food Assessment Report Released

The 2022 Lowell Community Food Assessment was a collaborative project undertaken by Mill City Grows with funding, support, and participation of the REACH LoWELL initiative and the Greater Lowell Health Alliance (GLHA). This comprehensive report includes data received from more than 1,000 Lowell residents.

Lowell CHC Data Featured in Behavioral Health Study

Lowell CHC, along with several other health centers, participated in research done by Boston Medical Center and Boston University School of Public Health on the integration of behavioral health in community-based primary care settings. Results call for expansion of behavioral health services at federally qualified health centers to provide equity in pediatric behavioral health care.
