Lowell Community Health Center offers comprehensive HIV services including counseling, testing, treatment, social support and advocacy for those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Appointments are available, and walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours.

How do I make an appointment?

We offer 3 convenient ways to make an appointment with our care team. You can schedule an appointment with a provider you have seen before in our Patient Portal. For all other appointment requests, you can complete our online request form, or call 978.937.9700. Learn more →

Do I need to have insurance?

No, you do not need to have insurance, and we never turn anyone away due to inability to pay. However, our Insurance Navigators can help you find a plan that’s right for you. Plus, they will walk you through the process step by step. You may be surprised how many options are available. You also may qualify for insurance, regardless of your immigration status. Can I walk in for an appointment?

For most health and wellness services, you need to make an appointment. However, our Patient Walk-In Center does offer a number of services on a walk-in basis. Please check our hours before you plan your visit.

How do I get a referral for my provider?

If you need a referral, or have questions about an existing referral, call our Referrals Office at 978-322-8745 Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
