Marcela Vasconcelos Ferreira, DDS
Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS), Universidade Vale do Rio Doce, Governador Valadares, MG, Brazil. As a Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dr. Vasconcelos Ferreira is a primary care dental provider who diagnoses, treats, and manages overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education.
Dr. Vasconcelos Ferreira is a Dentist committed to serving the Greater Lowell community by improving patients’ oral health and consequently their quality of life through dentistry. She is a firm believer that overall health starts from the mouth.
When not working, she is involved in research through the Hispanic International Mission (HIM) as a Research Coordinator, and part of the Hispanic International Mission (HIM) Executive Board of Trustee. She attends ongoing continuing education courses, conferences, and seminars to be up-to-date with new innovations in Dentistry. Dr. Vasconcelos Ferreira has many years of dental experiences, including from being a dental assistant to getting her Doctorate Degree in Dentistry.
Her professional associations include memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), Merrimack Valley District Dental Society, Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), Massachusetts Hispanic Dental Association (MHDA) and Hispanic International Mission (HIM)
Dr. Vasconcelos Ferreira is married, and with her husband has two children. Together they enjoy traveling and being active outdoors.
