A Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Karin joined the Lowell Community Health Center team in January 2022 after completing her nurse practitioner degree at Georgetown University and serving patients as a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Springfield, MA. She is deeply committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive reproductive, sexual, and whole-person care. Karin is passionate about holistic and preventative medicine, adolescent gynecology, prenatal care, well-women care, mental health, contraception counseling, sexual concerns, and patient education. She is devoted to creating a comfortable and safe space for patients, as well as about global issues of advocacy, diversity, reproductive justice, and public health.

When Karin is not working, she can be found at yoga, on her bike, hiking or camping, reading or listening to books, learning new things, and exploring new places. She especially loves time with her three grown children and meeting new people.
