I served my communities for many years as a pediatric and Emergency Room RN. I spent many years working in high stress situations, and caring for patients with complex medical conditions. I learned from those years that my passion in health care is rooted in primary and preventive care. So many of today’s common health conditions can be prevented through consistent, comprehensive primary care.
I enjoy doing patient education and handing the power back to the patient or parent so they can be active participants in improving their health or their child’s health.

I work primarily in the school-based health centers and I am the provider for the school-based mobile health unit. I want parents to feel that their children can still receive quality, safe health care while they are at school during the day. In the school-based health centers, we understand that many families face barriers when trying to keep health appointments such as getting time off of work or coordinating transportation. On the mobile-health unit, we are bringing primary care services to the children, functioning as an office on wheels.
