We Love Our Staff: Meet Jeanmerli!

Meet Jearnmerli, community health worker (CHW) extraordinaire! CHWs are key to ensuring the health of a community. They conduct outreach; they connect people to social services; they interpret; they educate; they deliver strollers, air conditioners and food; but mostly, they advocate for their community. During COVID our CHWs, like Jeanmerli, made sure to stay in the community, knocking on doors and making sure to keep people connected. CHWs do whatever is necessary promote health and overall wellbeing. Much love to our CHWs!

Jeanmerli shares, “Lowell Community Health Center to me is family and community. I love being able to support the community with resources I have access to and most importantly partnering with my fellow coworkers to do such important work. It is so important to meet the community where they are at with the right health information.”
