About Me:
Board certified in Family Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Desai has been with Lowell Community Health Center’s Metta Health Center since 2019. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
Dr. Desai is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for people of all ages, with a strong emphasis on preventive care and building long-term relationships with her patients. She has a particular interest in obesity medicine and helping patients achieve sustainable improvements in weight, metabolic health, and overall well-being through individualized, evidence-based care.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, gardening, singing, listening to music, and spending time with family.
