We are here to make your first visit as easy as possible. Lowell Community Health Center offers a wide range of high-quality health services, with medical interpretation available.
Our services include adult and family medicine, OB/GYN care, pediatric medicine, HIV services, behavioral health support, dental and eye care, and a convenient walk-in center. We also provide specialized programs through our Metta Health Center and school-based health centers. No matter your financial situation, we are here to provide you with compassionate and comprehensive care.

New Patients: What to Expect
Thank you for choosing Lowell Community Health Center. Before your first appointment, our Welcome Center staff will call you to help you get ready. During this call, we will:
- Collect basic information
- Verify insurance or connect you with a Health Insurance Navigator
- Provide you with information about our Sliding Fee Payment Scale
- Explain how to use our patient portal
- Share information about our services
- Help you prepare for your visit

Preparing for Your Visit
For on-site visits, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, registration, and check-in.
For virtual care appointments, please find a quiet place where you can speak privately with your provider by video or phone.
If your visit requires a co-pay, we accept checks, cash, credit cards, and mobile payments.
Please let us know if your contact information changes. It is important that we have your current phone number, address, and email so we can reach you about referrals, results, and appointment reminders.

Need Help with Health Insurance?
If you do not have health insurance, our Health Insurance Navigators can help over the phone or in person. Sliding fee discounts are available for those who qualify based on income.
No one will be denied care due to inability to pay.
