Lowell Community Health Center awarded $187,980 HRSA Grant to Control Hypertension

Lowell CHC has been awarded a $187,980 grant from the Department of Health and Human Services – Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to help health center patients with hypertension improve their blood pressure control.

Pace Of Coronavirus Vaccination Lags Supply In Mass.

Read comments from Lowell CHC Director of Clinical Services, Elizabeth Hale, in this recent piece on WBUR. “So far in Massachusetts, the pace of vaccinating residents against COVID-19 is way behind supplies of coronavirus vaccines. The latest update Monday from Gov. Charlie Baker shows about 40% of the doses delivered to Massachusetts have been injected and, state data released last week shows, 92% have gone to hospital staff.”

COVID-19: Patient Vaccine Update

We were thrilled to begin administering the COVID-19 vaccine to our front-line staff in December, but it is not yet available to patients. We will let patients know when and how to get the vaccine when it does become available at Lowell CHC. Please do not call the health center with questions about the vaccine.
